PETLAB Partners

PETLAB is operated by GNS. It has grown from the in-house NZGS PET catalogue (of about 10000 rocks in 1938) to become the multi-institutional colossus of more than 110000 sample records today.

CONTRIBUTING PARTNERS
Are the six New Zealand universities. Staff and students get free access to LAB data in return for supplying sample and analytical data on an ongoing basis. All IP remains with the universities.

SUBSCRIBING PARTNERS
In lieu of supplying data to PETLAB, these organisations pay an annual subscription to access LAB records. We are grateful for their ongoing support.

DATA ENTRY

License fees from subscribing partners are used for data entry. The actual job of data entry is an onerous one and we would like to acknowledge the efforts made by the following ex-employees, students, wage workers, and anyone not listed here, who have entered data into PET and PETLAB over the decades: Caroline Houston-Eleftheriadis, Jan Hanbury-Sparrow, Sarah Holt, Ricardo Zuchetto, Eric Wilson, Claire Thurlow, V.
